A Cruise Ship Adventure from USA to Italy:

A Cruise Ship Adventure from USA to Italy:

Cruising is most definitely not the way to see Italy for the first time. If you truly want to experience the culture and people then cruising is the best option.

What is the Best Cruise Line To Take As A Tourist?

Oh, are you sailing the Mediterranean, stopping at legendary ports like Naples, Venice and… Civitavecchia? Yes, well, some of the standard cruise Italian cruise stops have obscure names because they actually are the ports of call for the most famous inland cities; in the case of Civitavecchia, it is Rome. .  it comes to finding an Italy cruise, it’s best to leave it to the discount cruise lines, who always charge less than the cruise lines themselves.

What is the Most Effective Part of Cruising?

Cruising is really popular these days. In this special, I’d to explore the ins and outs, and pros and cons of this travel option. Sailing from Miami to Civitavecchia with stops all along the way, I’ll toggle from floating resort to exciting days on shore. It is nearly each day in different country.

How can Cruising be Economical?

Cruising can be economical with your transportation, room and meals all enclosed at one price. It can be ideal for those who want wish everything in restricted budget. It can also be an efficient platform for the people who want to form their own adventures each day.

Enjoyable Things while Cruising Mediterranean:

While there are a lot of things to enjoy on the ship but the reason, I cruise the Mediterranean is to experience the Mediterranean. The Mediterranean world is full of wonder and richly rewards the well-organized traveler. The cultural variety seems endless and shows itself in traditions, cuisines, and a distinctive love of life. For thousands of years, this was the center of western civilization.

Mediterranean

Exploring the Mediterranean, you will enjoy the sweep of art history, from the ancient treasures to the dazzling accomplishments of the renaissance to modern wonders. And it’s just flat-out beautiful, no wonder the rich and fabulous have built their palaces and villas here since ancient times.

The cruiser’s challenge is to decide how to best experience all these attractions.

Why is Cruising my Favorite?

I don’t have to do anything, nothing, not a thing that I don’t want to do. I don’t make my bed; I don’t clean my bathrooms. clean towels arrive magically.

I don’t think about food until I sit down at the table and then choose what I want to eat. There is entertainment which I can enjoy or ignore. It’s my idea of heaven.

On the way to Civitavecchia port, Italy:

Finally, after 15 days, we disembarked at the port of Civitavecchia, Italy. It is the port city for Rome.

How to Travel from Civitavecchia Port to Rome?

Civitavecchia is about 87 km away from Rome and you have two options to choose from. The first one is to get taxi from the port and you will get to roam in about one and half hours depending on the traffic. The price of taxi is ranging from 40 to 60 euros. The second option is to ride a train which is what I did. From the ship you can walk to the train station. At train station, you can buy your tickets to Rome. It costs only 5 euros round trip. There are several train stations that you can get off depending where you like to go. But we went to Vatican so we got off at Roma esparto or saint peter’s station.

Historical Monuments in Rome:

Rome is huge, complex, and endlessly entertaining with rich culture.

Here are some main monuments of Rome which I visited.

COLOSSEUM:

COLOSSEUM

colosseum is the largest amphitheater ever built and it is made of concrete and stone. Construction was completed in the year 80.it was designed to accommodate an estimated 80,0000 visitors. It is used for gladiatorial contests, public spectacles, animal hunts, executions, reenactments of famous battles and dramas based on classical mythology. Earthquakes over time caused great damage to the structure.

Basilica Di San Pietro:

Basilica-Di-San-Pietro

A long straight road from the Tiber to st peters was not the original plan for this area surrounding the Vatican questions of open or closed road plans leading to saint peters finally led john Lorenzo Bernini to create the saint peter’s square that we know today he settled on this colossal open space in the shape of an eclipse and instead of clearing the areas of borgo around the Vatican rather the roman and the pilgrim were meant to come out of the darkness of the city ways and stumble upon an open and see the dome under which the remain rest of the first pope saint peter.

Trevi Fountain:

Trevi-Fountain

The Trevi Fountain is one of the oldest water fountains in Rome. With a height of 26 meters and a width of 49 meters, it is one of the greatest sights in Rome. It’s the unmissable view of the city. It is one of the finest remaining structures, showing the craftsmanship of the ancient Romans. Aeon old and among the most famous fountains in the world, this iconic landmark is well worth a visit when in Rome. Travellers flock to this beloved 18th-century Baroque masterpiece, featured in numerous films, works of art and books, to see the amazing detail and sheer beauty it possesses.
